A Burnt Out Case | Graham Greene

Mehso-so

The story follows a famous Belgian architect of cathedrals as he attempts to withdraw from the world and his fame to a tiny Catholic mission and leprosarium in central Africa. His identity is soon enough revealed much to his annoyance and a misunderstanding between himself and a holy roller plantation owner leads to tragedy. This is your typical Greene thriller novel infused with questions about Catholicism. Not my favorite Greene, but okay.
