Shipwrecked by Rhoda Blumberg is a biography that was published in 2001. This book is about a young boy who had left the country and was not allowed to return or he would be out to death. In 1800‘s the Japanese government had strict isolation laws. Manjiro who was fourteen years old and four fisherman were shipwrecked. The shipwrecked happened three hundred miles away from shore they wondered if they would ever get home.
