Ok, it was between a pick and a so so. Although Dante and Karina played a pretty big part in this one, the story focuses on Athena (Karina‘s best friend) and Romeo the president of the MC. This has been alluded to since the first book but Athena was underage and Romeo is, well, twice her age. No Daddy dom thing in this like with Dante and Karina but Athena does stupid stuff and Romeo is an ass for most of the book. It works out in the end but 👇

I haven‘t done one of these in awhile so here goes. 1. I was going to say drinking but I‘ll be having pizza as well at the dive tonight 2. Vexed by Phoenyx Slaughter 3. Um, probably not many. This working full time is really cutting into my reading time. I‘ll say 10. @Samplergal

Pretty sure I‘ll be binging the rest of these. Day two, novella 2. And another flipping cliffhanger. I‘m less squicked out about the daddy/baby girl dynamic. It‘s still not for me and I usually hate it in books but it really does work here and the author explains it a bit in her note at the end. Going to have to start book 3 now to find out what the deal with Karina‘s Dad (the real one) is. Someone‘s been keeping secrets.

Finished this cliffhanger novella before work today, so now that I‘m home it‘s time to move in to book 2. Holy hell this was 🔥🔥. I‘m not normally a big fan of the daddy/baby girl thing but this was pretty well done and for Dante and Karina, it works for them. Plus I like how he tells her that it‘s their thing, just between them and the club doesn‘t need to know. It‘s not as well done as the LOKI books by AJL, but it‘ll do for now.
