This book is very interactive as it has three dimensional pieces in it. This book tells the perspective of Susy, Mark Twain's daughter. It captures a unique perspective of Mark Twain that most don't think of.

I enjoyed reading this story about Mark Twain, one of the most influential authors to ever write. It really gave the readers a good look as to what marks upbringing was really like.

Like Papa, Susy wrote and wrote, filling over 130 pages. To conclude her biography, she relied on an eyewitness account to provide an anecdote that summed up Papa perfectly.

I loved the illustrations in this book. I think it is amazing that the book contained little flaps of Susy's journal with her writing in it.

This book tells the story about Mark Twain's life from the viewpoint of his daughter, Susy. People thought that Mark Twain was a jokester. She was determined to show people that he was so much more by writing in a journal which she kept under her pillow. She wrote about both his good and bad habits, from his writing routine to their family's home life. She wrote a amazing biography which gave rare insight and an unforgettable perspective on him.

“And so, people finally got just what Susy thought they needed: a portrait of the funny, serious, absentminded, cat-loving, billiard-playing, philosophical Papa— the extraordinary Mark Twain, according to Susy.“

I liked how there were journals throughout the pages of the book. This made the book more interactive, and gave us a little insight of what Mark Twain was thinking during these times.

Biography and was written in 2010. The setting of this book is back in the late 1800's where Mark Twains daughter takes notes of what her father does all of the time. She took notes on the serious parts of her father's life like creating a system for copyrighting books or being silly because he was really good at it with his life and in his books. At the end susy showed her father what she had done and her father loved it.
