Pickpick

I gave The Present Darkness a 5 star read, but the second and final book in this 2 book series was so much better. The salvation of Sally Roe made me cry. It took me a few chapters to really get into this one, but once I was into it, I didn't want to stop reading. I will definitely be reading more books by Frank E Peretti in the future. I highly recommend The Present Darkness and Piercing the Darkness to all readers, especially Christian.

Pickpick

I give this one a pick instead of so-so because there‘s no in between. It‘s not an AMAZING book—the story is a bit far-fetched. But it‘s still intriguing and a good narrative.

This #weeklyforecast - maybe actually reading some library books I've had since March??? Started the tagged book this morning. Anne is May's #HeyCarrots book 😬 and Hundred Names is a sequel to a book I surprisingly enjoyed earlier this year. We'll see how far I get!! Last week before starting to pick up hours at the orchard!

Cinfhen I miss the library 5y
TheAromaofBooks @Cinfhen - For a while they were closed completely, then they opened so that you could request/pick up books that were available in that specific location, but now interlibrary loan is fully operational and I am SO happy, because that is how I get almost all my books. None of the libraries are open to the public, but as long as I can do curbside pickup, I'm pretty content!! 5y
