I really enjoyed this book, had me wanting to listen to it in one day, but decided to take the time of listening a couple hrs a day.
I feel this is one of this author's best. WHO you may think could be behind the warnings, to a mother in pain in the death of her son. Will surprise you.
All the secrets will keep you wanting more. A great read, I promise🤞🤞

What a great read! Kathryn Croft really knows how to create suspense and throw in plot twists to keep her readers turning pages and reading past their bedtime. Zoe's son Ethan drowns in the lake with his bestfriend Josh....it's ruled accidental but then Zoe receives a warning that it was no accident. Thanks to #Netgalley for the chance to read an ARC in exchange for an honest review. #thewarning #kathryncroft #goodreads #tea_sipping_bookworm

The synopsis was intriguing. The first chapter had me hooked. Three years after the accident that killed Zoe‘s son, she receives an anonymous text suggesting that her son‘s death may not have been an accident. It has twists you simply cannot see coming. The story wraps up with an astonishing ending. I was shocked. A fantastic read! Thanks to Netgalley and Bookouture for sending me this book in exchange for an honest review. Opinions are my own.

A good story with a bit of a half guessed twist. Lots of underlying backstories made it a bit complicated for me but the overall compulsion of a mother wanting to find out the truth about her son‘s death was what made me want to keep going and I really did care about her. As in all good mysteries the truth is revealed with a final shocking twist. #NetGalley
