I liked Pinkney‘s choice of leaving some pages wordless to speak for themselves, as they easily did. I believe children would make up their own stories or words for the page.
pickThe Tortoise and The Hare by Jerry Pinkney published in 2010 is such a cute story. The words, illustrations, just everything!
