Der Ernährungskompass
Der Ernährungskompass: Das Fazit aller wissenschaftlichen Studien zum Thema Ernährung | Bas Kast
10 posts | 3 read
Doch was ist wirklich gesund? Eine mehrjährige Entdeckungsreise in die aktuelle Alters- und Ernährungsforschung begann. Was essen besonders langlebige Völker?

It‘s really a joy for me that I like cooking. Because that‘s where I get most of my audioreading done.

The only thing with Bas Kast and his analysis of nutrition, nutrients and nutrition studies is: You become hungry.

#NovelNovember @Andrew65

Buechersuechtling @Andrew65 You‘re laughing, but believe me, when you just finished cooking a tasty meal and then the author of this book for 10 minutes talks about, dunno, baking bread and you end up thinking: ā€œNow I don‘t like my meal any more but need to eat freshly baked bread immediately!ā€, that‘s not funny. šŸ˜‰ Especially not, when it happens more than once. šŸ˜‚ 3y
Andrew65 @Buechersuechtling I‘m terrible if I food shop hungry, come back with all sorts of things šŸ™ˆ (edited) 3y
Buechersuechtling @Andrew65 Yepp. ā€œImpulse buy massacreā€, that‘s how my significant other and I call it when this happens. Most of the time, I trod off with a list. That doesn‘t always keep me from buying crisps and chocolate and loads of cheese although I still have enough cheese, but in about 95% of my shopping tours it serves the purpose. 3y

You Littens, I‘m behind with reviews ā€“ my week was arduous. (Not as awful as I expected it to be, but awful enough.)

But thisā€¼ļøYou guys, I am really wondering how it can be that it has taken me so long to finally ā€œtackleā€ it. I loved itā€¼ļøšŸ’š Not everything was new to me but there was enough new stuff to keep me completely hooked.

There is really very much information in it. So I‘m seriously thinking of buying me a copy as encyclopaedia

#30daysofgratitude by @jb72

Yesterdayā€˜s prompt: Oneā€˜s favorite recipe.

Canā€˜t make a choice but I for sure fall for one-pot meals (Bœuf Bourguignon, Ratatouille) and cakes (chocolate, nuts) and pancakes. And waffles.

See this bread casserole: https://bit.ly/2KkFYBn šŸ¤¤

Yesterdayā€˜s gratitude:
ā€¢ For my mum šŸ’—
ā€¢ For some reading time
ā€¢ For me planning my meals for one week at the end of the week before
ā€¢ For being ā€œgiftedā€ home office today

jb72 I‘ve never made boeuf bourguignon but I‘ve heard it‘s good. 3y

#30DaysOfGratitude by @jb72

I donā€˜t have TikTok; Litsy is my only social media šŸ¤

Gratitude
ā€¢ SUNDAY ā€“ A chance to get enough sleep even if your neighbours have guests / a party going on ā€˜till about 4 a. m.
ā€¢ Treating myself to an ā€œopulentā€ breakfast: Boiled eggs, cheese, jam and joghurt flanked by coffee
ā€¢ A book that soaks me in (ā€œCrawdadsā€), missed that for 2 books
ā€¢ Chance and ability to unwind

Text from here: https://bit.ly/3nmNLwo

Ruthiella I like that schedule! šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ 3y
Buechersuechtling @Ruthiella Yeah, I also thought, it‘s so really brilliant. šŸ˜‚ Fitted my day perfectly, by the way. 3y
jb72 I definitely need to change all activity to reading. 3y

One of the books I am seriously thinking about buying a physical copy of.

That‘s the pro-side.
The con-side: It makes me hungry.

*heads to the kitchen to grab some yoghurt with nuts and fruits or honey*

Moony Naa da kriege ich jetzt auch Hunger auf Joghurt mit Honig. Oder selbstgemachten Bananen-Quark mit Honig. šŸ’• 3y

Well, it‘s a bit demotivating that I once again need to change my goals for #NovelNovember hosted by @Andrew65 ā€¼ļøšŸ¤·šŸ½ā€ā™€ļø

I just discovered this morning that my first-choice-audiobook was borrowed by someone else at the library. So, gone is that.

And I found out it would be unwise to start with Elizabeth Strout today because ā€œWhere the Crawdads singā€ will be available for me tomorrow. šŸ˜ So, also another book-replacement.

Andrew65 I always tend to go for number of books rather than particular books for this reason. 3y
Buechersuechtling @Andrew65 doing so would not exactly match my smart enough that for aims, but you definitely have a point there. I will ponder on it for your next readathon. šŸ˜ 3y

Especially the last goal for #NovelNovember might turn out to be a real challenge because this audiobook causes my library-app to crash when I try to download it on my mobile device.

That means, I can only listen to it at home and not on my commute.

Andrew65 Good luck šŸ˜ŠšŸ‘ Great to have you with us. 3y
Buechersuechtling @Andrew65 Thanks, I‘m glad I‘m on board, feels like my last readathon is ages ago. (edited) 3y

A book I kind of wanted to read forever and least, as long as forever is when you take into account that four of us started after I listened to ā€žFett Logik überwindenā€œ.

So far I like it. It‘s a fluent read ā€“ in my case, easy to listen to.

Until now, Kast didn‘t present new insights to me, but I don‘t really care because repetition let‘s things sink in deeper and he as an entertaining way of presenting things.
