How to Lead When You're Not in Charge
How to Lead When You're Not in Charge: Leveraging Influence When You Lack Authority | Clay Scroggins
3 posts | 2 read | 2 to read
"This book will be one of the most, if not the most, pivotal leadership books you'll ever read." - Andy Stanley "If you're ready to lead right where you are, this book can show you how to start." - Dave Ramsey "Read this book! The marketplace is full of leadership messages, but this one is a stand out." - Louie Giglio Are you letting your lack of authority paralyze you? One of the greatest myths of leadership is that you must be in charge in order to lead. Great leaders don't buy it. Great leaders lead with or without the authority and learn to unleash their influence wherever they are. With practical wisdom and humor, Clay Scroggins will help you nurture your vision and cultivate influence, even when you lack authority in your organization. And he will free you to become the great leader you want to be so you can make a difference right where you are. Even when you're not in charge. X

🎧 hmmm there is a lot of good information here! One tiny comment ... this book comes with a lot of religion. The information he shares regarding how to lead without a title or bestowed authority is definitely worth a listen. The author reads the book and seems to be a good speaker. If anyone has read a great book on leadership in this same vein I‘d welcome recommendations. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Just finished this one up. Probably the BEST book I‘ve read on leadership. I have a big important work meeting this week and I needed this wisdom. Definitely recommend! 👍🏾👍🏾

This book is really challenging me to think differently about my workplace and the various roles/responsibilities I am fulfilling. Also like that it mentions great things that have been accomplished under “bad” leaders, especially since my attitude towards my leadership has not been positive at all. Good read so far!
