The Dead of Night
The Dead of Night | John Marsden
2 posts | 30 read | 3 to read
Australia has been invaded. Nothing is as it was. Six teenagers are living out their nightmare in the sanctuary of a hidden valley called Hell. Alone, they make their own rules, protect what is theirs, and struggle for courage and hope in a world changed forever. Seeking supplies, allies, and information, the friends make forays into enemy territory, drawing on nerve and resourcefulness they never even knew they had. As the risks become greater, so too do the sacrifices they must make. Intense, passionate, and compulsive, The Dead of Night continues the frighteningly real story begun in Tomorrow, When the War Began.

This series is so good. When I was a teen, I loved those action movies that had the teens as the fighters. Remember Patrick Swayze in Red Dawn? That is the Tomorrow series.

Eight teens fight invaders while surviving in the bush.

Took some books to the op shop, came home with a few more 😂📚

They didn't have the first of the Tomorrow series, but I already have a copy - it's also the only one I've read of this series so definitely had to buy the rest!

Holes is great 👌 I didn't have a copy of Fantastic Mr Fox and I got another Jacqueline Wilson book to add to my little collection.
