My Week with the Bad Boy
My Week with the Bad Boy | Kennedy Fox
2 posts | 4 read | 4 to read
WELCOME TO KENNEDY FOX BEDTIME READS! Steamy love stories you can read in one sitting! After everyone goes to bed for the night, snuggle up with a Kennedy Fox Bedtime Read! These are full-length standalone novels that are filled with humor, insta-lust, blistering heat, and are faster-paced, but still have everything you love about a Kennedy Fox book! Never trust a man who answers the front door wearing nothing more than a pair of low-cut jeans and a panty-melting smirk. That should've been my first sign. I write about guys just like him for a living--sexy and charming, yet reluctant to get into a serious relationship. His body screams sex appeal, but his condescending personality makes him a classic f*ckboy. And I want nothing to do with that. Writing romance novels comes with its perks--traveling, meeting new people, creating characters from the voices in my head--but Ethan Rochester enters my life and rearranges all my preconceived notions about writing what inspires you. One week is all it took. One week to realize that not everything is as it seems. One week with the bad boy, and I wanted more. **This is a complete STANDALONE novel--filled with plenty of humor, steam, & romance! 18 & up only due to explicit sexual content, language, and adult content.** *Previously published under the names, Brooke Cumberland & Lyra Parish.*

Mehso-so

I love Kennedy Fox; however, I did not love this book. It was just a bit too much, too fast (in the naughty sense)... and the characters! There was no character development! Oh... at one point, I was reading and my husband was next to me, and I guess he was curious about what I was reading because out of nowhere I hear: “This is terrible...” 🙈

I really wanted to love this book. It basically had everything that I could have possibly wanted, a hot and outrageous male lead and a sassy spitfire woman but unfortunately this book just didn't jive with me. I never felt connected to the characters and for me that is a must. It felt very over the top and not realistic or even plausible. The chemistry seemed forced and I just wasn't that impressed. I wasn't impressed but it wasn't awful
