I really liked the idea of this story. It was really interesting to read about women during the war in such a powerful way. I felt like it was a bit slow on audio and tough to follow. It would probably be a lot better to physically read this one. Overall, it was good, just not my favorite in historical fiction!

This historical fiction novel follows 3 women (Rose, Hazel, and Sophia) all from different walks of life but who have come together to work in the French Resistance during World War II. Part I of the book was compelling and I connected well with the characters. However Part II felt a little shallow and not less striking.
