A wonderful book! The narration was a bit staccato, but I got used to it after a while. I‘m not sure I can blame it for my lack of focus, which sometimes caused me to miss rather significant events... still, a great listen!
This was between so so and pick. Finding out in the epilogue that the story was based on a real figure but my opinion of it up a notch or two. A female catholic mystic 1880‘s Mexico. If even a small portion of the story is true, it‘s incredible.
