pick“If this goes on-“ is a sci-fi novella by Robert A. Heinlein, written in 1940. I often reread it. This story is set in the USA that was overtaken by theocratic dictatorship, and where population is ruled by propaganda, until at last there is a revolution. And the whole time I was fascinated by the fact that it was written 80 years ago, right at the beginning of WWII, and yet people didn‘t change at all. I definitely recommend it.
