Cold Case Vancouver
Cold Case Vancouver: The City s Most Baffling Unsolved Murders | Eve Lazarus
2 posts | 2 read | 2 to read
Cold Case Vancouver delves into fifty years of some of Vancouver's most baffling unsolved murders. In 1953, two little boys were found murdered in the city's storied Stanley Park, and who remain unidentified to this day. In 1975, a country singer was murdered just as she was on the verge of an amazing career. And in 1994, Nick Masee, a retired banker with connections to the renegade Vancouver Stock Exchange, disappeared along with his wife Lisa, their bodies never found. Cold Case Vancouver is an intriguing whodunit for true-crime aficionados and armchair detectives. Eve Lazarus's previous books include Sensational Vancouver.

Pickpick

I recently discovered this talented author through one of Dark Poutine Podcast's episodes. So I binge read her books & I enjoyed them all! Well-written and well-researched, I highly recommend this to true crime fans. Note: The cases here focus on city of Vancouver.

Rating: 5⭐

I read this between July 27 & August 2nd. I gave it 3.5 ⭐️ on Good Reads. The book makes for a fascinating read for people who are familiar with the city but in some ways it‘s a bit dry due to the fact that Lazarus often has very little info to give readers about each case. The older the case, the more time has passed, the more details have been loss. It‘s a good primer to what the city was in the past.
