Pickpick

For people interested in the history of the fantasy genre this is a must read. Written by Moorcock it is a topical history and assessment of the genre once known as romance now called fantasy (science fiction was once known as science fantasy).

Most importantly it contains Moorcock's essay that has launched more arguments amongst fantasy fans than just about any other article; "Epic Pooh" makes it worth the price for the thoughtful fantasy fan.
