Spent the morning finishing this great book. When we meet her, Amber Appleton is a quirky homeless teenager living in a school bus who still daily manages to inject her own brand of hope and positivity into the world around her. When tragedy strikes, she finds that hope coming back her way. This book broke my heart and then put it back together. Love!

I wish this book was more popular. It was a really fun read.

Not bookish related except that these guys give me inspiration when I write, not only them but them and other bands I‘ve gotten to meet. 5 years ago they quit their jobs to live in a van and play music. They aren‘t well known (a shame), they don‘t have a major label behind them, but they‘re nice guys and love what they do. Thanks to my friend Sherri for the great selfie of us as well. #howispentmywednesday

Instead of working on #nanowrimo like I should have last night I went to see these guys. They are 3 of the nicest, most down to earth, hardworking musicians I know. Whenever they come to town, I try to see them and support them. #imcallingitresearch These pics weren‘t from last night but it was the same place at various times over the last few years.

I spent all Friday night living it up with my favorite band and friends and all day today working a fundraiser for my church. I'm exhausted but I have 2 chapters left in Quentins. I will finish it tonight if if kills me.

Friends in a band had an album release party last night, got 3 hours of sleep and went to church this morning. I'm definitely not made for rock star hours me me and my sparkly pants are going to take a nap now. Happy Sunday everyone!
