I really enjoyed this strange yet beautiful Science Fiction graphic novel.

So...I don‘t know if Jeff Lemire sat down to create a(nother) great comic & said to himself, “I‘m going to write something an archaeologist (I am) who enjoys reading science fiction (I do, very much) would love,” but that‘s exactly what he did. This is a fantastic comic—it‘s a great story with art that compliments it perfectly. And the way the panels/pages are laid out is wonderful & definitely adds to the reading experience. Recommended.

Friday morning reading. Lemire with a side of cortado and a sinckerdoodle seemingly as big as my head.

The artwork is nice, but the story felt like one I've heard too many times, the whole star crossed lovers idea. The ending felt flat too, unsatisfactory.

Finished it. As usual for Jeff Lemire's work I adored it.

Next up. I have high hopes but I'm predisposed to adore all things Lemire

If you like trippy movies like Memento or Interstellar, you'll dig this time-travel romance. The artwork initially wasn't for me but I'm starting to appreciate more comics that have a less polished look, esp when storytelling is stellar like this.
