This! In my early days in Japan, I couldn‘t read, so was reliant on signs and colors and “turn left at the corner , pass house with blue nameplate, then second shop on right” type of navigation every day. This book described the feeling perfectly, Roland perfecting semiotics in Japan. All translators have an agenda conscious or not. Lost in Translation! Very cool.
