pickI never did a proper review here, only a recommendation. This is the first book of the series and well worth the read. It can be a stand alone read. The story is fluid, strong character development, and a great start for a first book. Two private investigators are confronted with crimes in their little north Texas town and they reveal the gritty underbelly of a normally serene place. @AllenTStClair
