Unrelated note: does anyone know stuff about women's sports? I'm trying to make a big effort to follow women's sports this year but I don't know much about anything. I've been researching but if there's anyone to talk to about it, that would be great 😅 can you tell that I don't know a single person who is into sports
NovelGirl82 Hey! I've been offline, sick, for a few days, so I'm just catching up. Any particular sports that you're interested in? I follow pro & college softball & the lpga (for the most part) as far as women's sports are concerned, unless something major happens in another that is interesting enough to catch my attention. 6y
queerbookreader @NovelGirl82 softball!!! I know nothing about! There have been college games on tv sometimes but I don‘t know much about pro other than like. There are only a couple teams in the league. And the league got shut down for like a decade and only recently got going again? 6y
NovelGirl82 Yes, the league used to be known as the WPSL, and it is now the NPF (National Pro Fastpitch). There are only 5 teams in the league in the US- The USSSA Pride, Aussie Spirit, B.S. Eagles, Cleveland Comets, & Chicago Bandits. I, personally, am a Pride fan. It will also be back in the summer olympics in 2020 (my goal was to make it to the Olympic team, until I screwed my knee up playing)! 6y
NovelGirl82 College softball is so much fun! There are a couple of teams that I really love- I‘m a huge Arizona fan, and it is the only sport that I actually like UT Austin in. My favorite thing is to watch the College World Series, that is played in Oklahoma City every year at the end of May-first part of June. What else can I tell you?! 6y
