Second book of 2020 to grab off my shelf. I often wonder where I found my used books and why I brought them home. Apparently they just recently made a movie of this -“Adrift”. I wonder if it‘s any better than the book. Some passages I found interesting. For example a voice kept talking to her as she was adrift. The rest felt very dry. Feel guilty saying that, considering her boyfriend dies. It just needed help in the writing.

marleed I feel like I found a pearl when a used book rates a 5, when a used book is a miss - I‘m just grateful that it‘s so easy for me to continue to donate books in which I didn‘t pay a premium price! (edited) 4y
