It was ok, I enjoyed opening the gifts along with the Once Upon a Book Club package although none of the gifts were really that good. The main character was a bit melodramatic for me and I think I would have preferred the book to go totally in to the paranormal.

Next up, I read some reviews that people didn‘t really like the book but I got it last year for my sister in a Once Upon a Book Club box and she passed it on to me. I just love opening those little gifts in the box! Has anyone else tried Once Upon a Book Club?

All of a sudden I have a very upset stomach. I think it's because my daughter received her first financial aid packet yesterday & the reality that I have no clue how I'm going to pay for her education is setting in! I decided to stay home from my knitting group tonight, wrap myself in a blanket, and read.

Change in plans. Our Christmas gifts have been out in the Hamptons for the past month. Hubs drive out and got them after work today & I decided I want to read this book and see what the little gifties are before reading my book club book. The first gift is on page 11 & I can‘t wait to see what it is! (Being watched over by my fatty catty Cola.)

This was the June Once Upon a Book Club pick & I really didn't care for it. The quality of the books chosen & the gifts has declined IMO. I'm unsubscribing. Let me know what you think.

Once Upon a Book Club. A unique book reading experience I love. You open each package as you get to the page marked on the package. #onceuponabookclubbox

BriKie That's an awesome concept. How much is it and how often? 7y
suzanne.literarylife @BriKie It's $35 per month I believe or a bit less if you do a multi-month plan which I do. 7y
