In Stavern around midsummer a severed left foot in a training shoe is washed up on the shore. Then another, and yet another. Altogether four left feet in the course of one week. Police Inspector William Wisting has many years of murder experience behind him, but he has never examined evidence like this.

Another pick for this Detective Wisting series 🕵️‍♂️
I did prefer The Katharina Code ... but , Dregs is good too .... and I will look forward to another one of these soon ! A new “ go-to” for “light relief”

TrishB Always good to have the comfort reads 👍🏻 4y

I rd book 9 in the inspector wisting series 1st + enjyd it, so when i saw that his latest had won the petrona prize i looked out for earlier bks, oddly this is bk 1 in English but bk 6 in the series! Anyway if you like scandi crime with grumpy police officers who are tenacious in working out troubling crimes similar to nesser and mankel id recommend. Ill definitely be reading more. Plot - Norway, a number of left feet wash ashore without bodies!

Cathythoughts Sounds good 👍🏻 😳 (edited) 5y
