#maybookflowers For #mexicanormexicanamericanwriters, I choose two poets. Octavio Paz's poetry is wonderful, though the only book of his I currently own is the poetry anthology he edited, which has lots of other great Mexican poets in it. (Yes, the translator is *the* Samuel Beckett.) Juan Felipe Herrera was the first Latino appointed as the US Poet Laureate, in 2015. Both of these poets are important writers, well worth checking out.
