Had to change from ‘pick‘ to ‘so-so‘. While the book was good...there was a lot of unneeded dialogue and details. The book made a lot of turns and before the truth could be fully unveiled you could piece it together. Will give the rest of the series a try.

RaimeyGallant Nice review. :) And welcome to Litsy! #LitsyWelcomeWagon Some of us put together Litsy tips to help new Littens navigate the site. Up til 2 am finishing this one, another Kindle freebie. Very good story but flawed editing. Most of the dialog was way too long, like the author was being paid by the word. Some of the things happening in the courtroom would never be allowed in a real courtroom. And a few incongruities, like a photo exhibit taped up into a box oddly shows up a few pages later back in the MC‘s hands. I give it 2 stars out of 5. ⭐️ ⭐️

It's a legal thriller but out of a score of 5 I'd give it a 3. I did continue reading the series though as not a bad read but kind of predictable.
