pickFor all its fun and amazing artwork this volume has a very dark story within. Of course, concerning a circus. I love that we finally got some backstory in this one too. Truly one of my favorite series. Victorian and Gothic vibes, y'all.

Also, this is where one of the quotes that's stayed with me the longest comes from. Only a bit of humor. This might be the darkest case so far, the Jack the Ripper case being second
