Pickpick

Despite my pet peeves about this series I very much enjoyed the book. The author overuses the word “dryly”, as in “he said dryly”. I don‘t think she understands what saying something dryly actually means. 90% of the time where she used it her editor should have hit delete. And I think it‘s ridiculous that the characters faint after sex. Every time. But other than that, I liked both Cale and Alex and I stayed up too late last night reading.

It‘s been a few years since I read the previous books in this series. But I remember one of my peeves was the overuse of characters speaking “dryly”. I made it to page 64 without a dryly (unless I didn‘t notice). Two on this page. Maybe I should keep count.

Otherwise, I‘m enjoying this book and getting back to the Argeneau clan.
