Kunal, relative newcomer to the strange town of Harmony, has his hands full preparing for Diwali. That should be enough to keep anyone's mind preoccupied, but Kunal can't really ignore that he's nearly thirty, single, and still buried in the closet.
Out of town at a gay club one night, he bumps into Oscar, proprietor of Harmony's only sex shop, and figures his secret is now officially out. What he doesn't expect is a slow seduction, or to have to decide what it is he really wants in life.

A sweet, incredibly diverse read. Set during Diwali and Halloween, it follows two men, Kunal and Oscar. Kunal has only had limited and negative exposure to what it means to be gay and doesn't think romance is in the cards. But poetry-spouting Oscar is determined to prove him wrong. Their romance unfolds in a small town that is very quaint, but also very haunted. A fresh voice and a very memorable story.

I was looking for a cute Valentine's Day read so I asked around and a friend recommended this! It is such a sweet story, very diverse, very grounded, and realistic. Follows two men (Kunal and Oscar), and in short vignettes it tells their love story. Also set during the holiday of Diwali which I don't think I've ever read about in a book! Highly recommended 😍
