Excellent read, but read at your own risk, some heavy subjects in a few stories.

I liked the overall story, of teens on a wilderness/survival trip, telling stories to one another. I loved that it was a different take on an anthology. Of course, some stories were better than others, but there was really only 1 story that I didn't like at all.

I‘m loving this book. I listened to more on my #audiorun today.

My #audiorun was cut short because of imminent rain, but I started this fun YA book with a Canterbury Tales vibe.

This surprised me with how good it is. Just wow.

✨I liked this anthology, some stories were amazing, some confusing, and some just bad. Overall the average rating was 3.6.

This was a really interesting take on The Canterbury Tales. I really liked how it is directed toward a YA audience and grasps some of the interesting parts of Chaucer. A group of teenage embark on a journey into the wilderness for a program they are sent to for troubled teens and they start a contest for best story. They tell stories as they go through the woods together and it shows a bit about each character.

I wanted to love #FeralYouth by "Shaun David Hutchinson and nine other powerhouse authors" I really did. However, it would have been better represented as a collection of short stories by various authors instead of a group of people telling disconnected stories while left together in the wilderness as punishment. I would have liked to read #ViolationOfRule16 as a complete novel instead of a short story because it reminded me of #Moxie.

Spine poetry for your Tuesday.

I just saw Robin Talley post about this on Twitter and I need it! It says it's a novel in 10 points of view, by 10 different authors. I can't wait to see who else is part of this project. Also, the Goodreads synopsis says it's inspired by The Canterbury Tales. Coming out in September! I will be anxiously looking forward to this one!
