The Harlequin Kiss line is advertised as fun and flirty. This book wasn't fun or flirty.

It was enjoyable, but not what I expected. The heroine was strong and patient. The hero afraid to express his emotions and commit because of childhood trauma.

This book is more 50 Shades than 50 First Dates.
