But there I go, getting ahead of myself. Skipping straight to the part where I was front-page news and they were calling me Dorothy, instead of starting at the beginning . . . When Dodie's parents go missing just as final year exams are about to start, she convinces herself they're fine. But when the least likely boy in class holds the key -- quite literally -- to the huge secret her parents have been hiding all these years, it's up to Dodie, her sister, the guy from school, and two guys she's never met before, to take on the challenge of a lifetime. So now Dodie's driving -- unlicensed -- to Sydney, and being chased by bad guys, the police, and one very handsome good guy. From the acclaimed author of Beatle Meets Destiny

Books I daydream about finding while browsing in thrift shops…

😳 $103.53 and postage isn‘t even included 😨

Lyssa131330 Mine is the hardbacks of the Tomorrow when the war began series (apparently they are collectors editions but I just want my shelf to look pretty lol) 2y
thegirlwiththelibrarybag @Lyssa131330, the desire for a complete matching set is strong! Are you close? 2y
Lyssa131330 @thegirlwiththelibrarybag Only two to go! (The most expensive ones but still lol) 2y
thegirlwiththelibrarybag @Lyssa131330 maybe you‘ll find them in an op shop!? 🤞🏼!! I‘m five books away from completing my Teen Power Inc collection. It‘ll take a miracle because the original print run must have been small (the books earlier in the series are much easier to find) 2y
Lyssa131330 🤞for both of us lol 2y

Pickpick

Do yourself a favour and don't read any reviews. Soak in the awesomeness of the cover and start reading with clear eyes and an open heart (and mind). The concept is both straightforward (teenagers, roadtrip) and complex (the dead guy) and make this book hard to explain - hence the recommendation to just dive in. Happily, I stumbled on this under the exact circumstances that I described. #loveozya

thegirlwiththelibrarybag Plus her first book was delightful 7y
Chachic I've had Beatle Meets Destiny in my wishlist for ages, I think it's out of print? 7y
Chachic Thanks for the heads up about the ebook! I didn't know it was available in that edition. 7y
