pickOne for Noel Streatfeild fans - a happy discovery in the British Library gift store, this anthology includes Christmas chapters from Theatre Shoes, Circus Shoes and Tennis Shoes, as well as a Christmas short story, remembrances of Christmases from Streatfeild's childhood and a chapter on what happened to Pauline, Petrova and Posy after Ballet Shoes ends. A slightly odd assemblage, but so much fun to revisit some of my favorite childhood books
