pickThe 5th Nabakov novel was probably his best at the time and easily my favorite so far. He focuses in on his milieu, young Russian exiles in the 1920‘s in school at Cambridge and getting started on life after school in different places, with all that political stuff going on in the periphery. Love, hormones, finding yourself, getting lost, with the loss a Russia, their Russia, of an identity, as an undercurrent. Lots of interesting stuff going on.
