College senior Garnet Figueroa lives and breathes basketball. A reliable asset to her varsity team, she is equipped with the skills and smarts to get the De La Sierra Lady Hunters closer to this year�s championship title. But Garnet soon finds out that her good friend (and long-time crush), cheerdancer Charles Crisostomo, is being cheated on by his girl, and she lets her emotions get the best of her.

I read the first part of this when it was still in Buqo and liked it, so I was really glad Tara wrote a follow up! I'm glad to read anything Tara writes, period. This book brings me back in college where basketball players are superstars and every second of the game matters for the championship! 🏀 Plus points because I'm practically a Sierran too. 😉💚 #romanceclass #romantsy

Sometimes I ask the universe for books that don't yet exist. There aren't that many Filipino romance books in English so there's a LOT of ground to cover. I asked for more college sports romance. And also, for cheerleader Bring It On style NA. Then #TaraFrejas wrote this, short stories about college basketball player Garnet falling for her best friend cheerleader Charles.
