pickThis book was fabulous! From its creative illustrations to it‘s intriguing storyline all done by Yuyi Morales, this book is a must read. This book captures an exciting battle between siblings while using both the English and Spanish languages. Yuyi Morales makes you feel as though you have entered the ring yourself in their imaginary play time.
This book uses mainly English but has some Spanish words thrown in so it is an excellent book to include when talking about culture and other languages. The comic book style sound words and bright colors make each page eye catching and different. This book uses comic book tools to portray a fun and active story!
