Moyasimon vol 1
The story is about 2 friends who left their home town in the country side to attend agricultural university in Tokyo. The protagonist also has the ability to see microorganisms - which are by far the cutest I've ever seen 😆

This story definitely appealed to the biology nerd in me, and reminded of the microbio & biochem classes I took. Sadly, only 2 volumes were ever published in the US 😢 Still, a good read 👍 #manga #moyasimon

kammartinez Ooh, this looks interesting :D. My background's in literature but I've got an enormous love for biology, and one of my closest friends is a biologist herself :D. Definitely have to find me a copy of this (and then another one for my friend if it turns out to be something I think she might like XD). 8y
Serotonin @kammartinez It's definitely a different type of story, and education at various points (fermentation, decomposition, etc) 🤔The microorganisms are adorable...unless you're OCD about germs 😆I just wish that more volumes were published in the US 😕 8y
