(Forgive me, I know it's not the season)

Growing up on the Sioux reservation as the daughter of a priest Virginia knows she will be the last to pick from the Theast boxes sent from white people on the east coast. With the box full of practical clothes as well as the absurd, Virginia is anxious for a warm coat that fits.

This was a beautifully written story about Christmas on the reservation. Great for grade schoolers.
