LeahBergen @Book_Fiend_Melissa No, that was one of her earlier books (and pokes fun at her sister‘s involvement with Oswald Mosley). I need to find a copy of that one as the only old ones I can find are $350 and up. š 4y

Happy World Book Day!! I came home from an exhausting day of work to so much book mail that even I was shocked. Not only did my BOTMC selections arrive, but the Faber 20 shorts AND my collection of Nancy Mitford special editions arrived. I‘m feeling blessed by the literary gods today. It‘s going to be a fantastic weekend of reading.

HardcoverHearts @batsy I have been interested in her backstory for some time, since her family is a compelling melodrama with one sister turning into a full fledged, card carrying Nazi! Just this last December, I went to Heywood Hill to buy a book from the place she used to work and see the digs with my own eyes. When I finally read In Pursuit of Love, I finally understood the hype. 5y
