Moonfall | Tamara Thorne
3 posts | 2 read | 1 to read
Moonfall, the picturesque community nestled in the mountains of Southern California, is a quaint hamlet of antique stores and craft shops run by the dedicated nuns of St. Gertrude's Home for Girls. As autumn fills the air, the townspeople prepare for the festive Halloween Haunt, Moonfall's most popular tourist attraction. Even a series of unsolved deaths over the years hasn't dimmed Moonfall's renown. Maybe because anyone who knew anything about them has disappeared. Now, Sara Hawthorne returns to her hometown...and enters the hallowed halls of St. Gertrude's where, twelve years before, another woman died a horrible death. In Sara's old room, distant voices echo in the dark and the tormented cries of children shatter the moon-kissed night. But that's just the beginning. For Sara Hawthorne is about to uncover St. Gertrude's hellish secret... a secret she'll carry with her to the grave....

When you're going on vacation for a week, what do you do? Buy books for the pool, of course! In addition to The Possessions and my kindle, I bought these two. (I've already started Moonfall.) And the journal is my new personalized traveler's journal from Red Pen Travelers - a fantastic small business with phenomenal customer service! I am so excited!!!

[DELETED] 3216391035 Oooo, love journals....will have to check them out! 7y

Pickpick

Creepy nuns who play for the wrong side, gargoyles that don't stay put, a town full of secrets, and, of course, a witch. a perfectly fun and spooky Halloween sort of read, not taxing at all and something I would have devoured as a teenager as I did with any Pinnacle horror paperback I could get my hands on.

Now I am an adult who still devours books like these cause I am young at heart.

Tamara Thorne (pictured here) has caught my attention.

Currently reading Moonfall by Tamara Thorne. I mean, look at that cover! Creepy nuns!

Perfect #scaretober book and perfect outdoor reading weather today on my lunch break. I also now work with nuns (and am non-religious), so this book is inspiring my imagination daily. 😂
