It was a slow start with this one, but it picked up towards the middle and then I couldn‘t put it down. I really loved these characters from the first book until now, and they all had wonderful arcs across both books in the series. There‘s heartache, beautiful dreams and amazing world building, romance, and plenty of magic. It ended beautifully and I‘m glad to have read this series.

May #TBRTarot (Choose a book written by a male author) #ReadAway2024 #SeriesLove2024 I enjoyed this book. My favorite character is The Huntsman, Grimsby‘s partner. Grimsby is a little difficult to take seriously because he uses phrases like “Puppydog Tails” as swear words. It‘s still a pick because some pretty awful things happen and Grimsby still manages to have specific views of right and wrong. He maintains an innocent nature and helps people.

CBee Puppy dog tails as a swear word 😂😂 8h

I think this was my favorite out of the series! As the group travels back from Winterkeep they hit a terrible storm and bad luck after bad luck. But through perseverance they make it through each trouble they face. This was a wonderful story that made you not want to put the book down!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was an excellent culmination of this series. And the ending of this book. Wow. I think I‘ll be thinking about it for a long time.
I enjoyed the whole journey - I read and listened to it, and Michael Kramer is an excellent narrator.
My husband finished it not long before I did, so the “oh and then Sanderson did this!” conversations have been plentiful.
I‘ll definitely be traveling more into his Cosmere!

I‘m continuing my experiments in monogamous reading with this month‘s selection for my in person #bookclub

LiteraryinLawrence Have you read it before? If not, you‘re in for a treat!! (But if it‘s a reread you‘re still in for a treat! Love that book!) 23h
IndoorDame Does that mean reading only one book at a time? (I not be good at that!) 23h
CBee This is the BEST book ♥️♥️♥️ 23h

Sace @LiteraryinLawrence @CBee @AmyG I‘m enjoying it so far! 2h
Sace @IndoorDame Yes. I only read about 5ish books a month when I read multiple books at once so I don‘t think reading one at a time is going to diminish my totals. Plus I think it will help me focus more. 2h
IndoorDame @Sace I used to read that way, and I think I liked it better, but I‘ve never been able to since college. I loved this book, enjoy!!! 2h
