pickIt was a slow start with this one, but it picked up towards the middle and then I couldn‘t put it down. I really loved these characters from the first book until now, and they all had wonderful arcs across both books in the series. There‘s heartache, beautiful dreams and amazing world building, romance, and plenty of magic. It ended beautifully and I‘m glad to have read this series.

Grimsby is a little difficult to take seriously because he uses phrases like “Puppydog Tails” as swear words. It‘s still a pick because some pretty awful things happen and Grimsby still manages to have specific views of right and wrong. He maintains an innocent nature and helps people.
TJ Klune (the greatest gay werewolf romance novelist EVER!) would love this 🏳️🌈🐺. Pretty sure Chuck Tingle would, too!

pickI think this was my favorite out of the series! As the group travels back from Winterkeep they hit a terrible storm and bad luck after bad luck. But through perseverance they make it through each trouble they face. This was a wonderful story that made you not want to put the book down!

This was an excellent culmination of this series. And the ending of this book. Wow. I think I‘ll be thinking about it for a long time.
I enjoyed the whole journey - I read and listened to it, and Michael Kramer is an excellent narrator.
My husband finished it not long before I did, so the “oh and then Sanderson did this!” conversations have been plentiful.
I‘ll definitely be traveling more into his Cosmere!
