I've loved Ted Kooser ever since I found out he used to mail penned Valentines to 50 lucky ladies each year. ❤️ This book won the Pulitzer Prize for Poetry in 2005 and while he was Poet Laureate of our country. His poems seem simple for they usually center on one idea or person. But they are anything but. I posted “In January“ to give you an idea.

I'm feeling all the warmth and coziness as cards keep arriving to my mailbox. Thank you, dear Littens, for your compassion and friendship. 💙❄️💙

📖 Was it recommended? Nope; I bought it when it first came out in 2013, and it's been on the ol' TBR shelf since then. 😃
📖 Would you recommend it? Yes! Lots of short stories from all areas of the mystery genre
📖 Have you read the author's work before? I've read quite a few of the authors, but so many I haven't. It's been fun!😍
