#LitsyLoveReads #ReadAway2024 The lyrical writing of this more-than-a-mystery had me hooked from the beginning. I‘ve found a new must-read author. Aaand many of his books are free on Audible. This is an excellent book and I highly recommend it.

I loved this book! Nada wants to forge her own way and launch the app she's been working on, Ask Apa, while also staying true to her family's Muslim traditions and expectations. When her friend Haleema takes her to a Muslim conference in the hopes of finding someone for Nada who could be a suitable husband, Nada runs into Baz, who she has a long history with.

Wow… the things this girl has been through 💔 her mother did so many horrible and unspeakable things to her… and the industry didn‘t do much better! I‘m glad she dead too and that sounds awful, but IYKYK! The last line gives me hope that she‘s ok… I will definitely be following her story. I listened to this one in 2 days! 5th audiobook!

Barry, now 70, credits his baldness for helping him shed his nerdy kid persona & land more current roles as a shrewd villain or lawyer. 😁 Filled with memorable stories & fun trivia: They‘d put peanut butter behind his ears so Tramp the dog would lick his face on cue!
