This is so funny and had me question my own internalized racism which is exactly why I picked up this book. Also it‘s pink. What more could you ask for? 20/10

In depth conversation in which Roxane Gay shares the trials and tribulations of living in a world that is unaccommodating to large bodies. Gay also describes the societal pressures and gazes the world directs towards her due to her size.

“They see my size before they see me.”

Roxanne Gay is probably one of my favorite writers of modern literature.

Biography on the one and only Janis Joplin. The ending was a little harsh but so was the life Janis lead. Fun fact: Myra Friedman passed away exactly 30 years to the day Janis did. Life is weird like that man.

Published by tempo books at the price of 60 cents, Rod Serling‘s chilling stories from the twilight zone vol 189 is just like the show. The twilight zone books are very fun to delve into when you feel like reading something short and spooky. These books never disappoint.
