I wanted to find a book about a 12-yr-old lesbian for my daughter and this was the only one I could find. It's a bit moody, but hopeful. I liked it. 🙂

The next time some neck beard calls a female character a Mary Sue, I will throw this book at his head. The book would've been half as long if we didn't have to keep stopping to notice how great the guy is. 😛
