Daisy Jones & The Six | Taylor Jenkins Reid
Pickpick

I had never never read something in this format; it‘s a fictional oral history, which was very interesting. I‘d categorize it as beach read-adjacent, in that it reads easy. Hardcore ‘Almost Famous‘ vibes. But it‘s not just entertaining; it has many little insights. Seems fitting that they‘re making it into a tv series.

If you have anxiety about the pandemic, the climate crisis, or just in general, this may not be the book for you, at this moment. But seeing as I‘m a glutton for punishment, I couldn‘t stop reading. I‘ve seen others complain about the ending, but I think it was realistic and meshed well with the world that was created. If you like reading/watching/learning about something painful we‘re all currently experiencing (to some extent), pick this up.
