I casually finished this one (the second time though) within a day and a half. Queen of shadows really starts to pick up and display Aelins real cunning clever planning mind and I love the way the book spins and circles back on itself, each part with a hidden purpose.

I got my first months subscription to #bookofthemonth and I am beyond excited to get a chance to crack this one open!

I really enjoyed reading this one- not so much because of the plot- but because it provided a good deal of closure for the story and also I saw the sneak peak at another book with Nesta and Cassian apparently taking the lead roles and it sounds so good!

I can‘t wait to finish reading this one. I started it last night and I‘m hooked. I love it when I get to see the characters after the main story is over, and even more so I love the way in which Maas went about creating a nostalgic moment around a holiday season that readers can relate to. It‘s a heart warming sense of closure ❤️
