I read this book in Rome and climbed to the top of the cupola of St. Peter's Basilica to see Vatican City and Rome sprawled beneath me. Walking the narrow streets and visiting the squares and churches depicted in the book made it come alive. Hope to see you again, Roma.

This novel made me stay up almost all night reading despite an early morning. Suspense combined with characters I respected and cared about make this a winner. After reading more about true life events depicted in the book, I have even more respect for the fierce female characters.
