The Wife Stalker: A Novel | Liv Constantine
Pickpick

If you can get past some of the parts that feel unrealistic, the story has a good pace and the twist is decent. The characters are pretty fleshed out although at times they feel pretty one-dimensional. I rated it a pick because it did keep me interested and I wanted to see how they wrapped it up.

Third Wife | Lisa Jewell

I thought the book was decent and I had a good idea of what happened to the third wife (not getting into it because... spoilers). That being said, Adrian really was living in a fantasy world, or at least a world where is oblivious to others feelings. When he left the first wife it actually made sense, the second wife not so much. Jewell‘s style of writing grabs on and makes you want to see how everything unfolds - that is why I am making it a pick

I like the In Death series even though sometimes it is too predictable. I‘ve read these for years and think they are fun, easy reads that I enjoy the continuation of the characters stories. That being said, I‘m hoping the books start getting more character development or shake things up somehow (not a main character death though but maybe a good life event) otherwise they will start to become boring.

I enjoyed this one. The story is told by 3 narrators, which enables the reader to piece together the story as they read in an interesting way. While I am not a fan of the unreliable narrator in general, it helped to add some twists, although you start to expect them due to the way it is laid out.

Honestly got into it towards the middle, figured out the twist (no spoilers here but all her books have a twist) but was still intrigued. The ending seemed rushed and I really wished it would have been wrapped up better. I don‘t like ambiguous endings in general but this one also didn‘t make sense. Emotionally, for the character maybe, but otherwise no.
