While braiding my hair I decided to grab this audiobook. It definitely started off slow, but in the end.. I was glad I picked it.
This book was discombobulating. It would get interesting then very slow. Then it would pick up again, and bam just like that it is over. The girl.. you NEVER FIND OUT HER NAME UNTIL THE END.. IT IS ELLA. MARY, was very disturb and she had a very good reason. But, what happened to her dad in the beginning? Where did he go? Also, if Ella father was around why was she in the house? Was Thornhill a psych ward?
While braiding my hair I decided to grab this audiobook. It definitely started off slow, but in the end.. I was glad I picked it.
🎙️I am challenging myself to a 24 hour readathon... Starting at 🕘 9:00 A.M. today Central time zone. I've never done this and I have just two days left until I go back to work. Wish me luck. I am adding my booklist to my Goodreads. www.goodreads.com/literarygem37
Still moving in and I haven't even put a dent in my books. Smh.
I have NEVER read A Wriinkle in Time, but oddly I have read all the other books in this series. Now, I have watched the movie a lot of times. This book, in my opinion was way better than the movie. I would definitely recommend you read this before you watch the movie because you will try to compare the parts. I did listen to this via audiobook and Hope did an awesome job.
Unfortunately, I can't get through the first chapter. This was a major DNF
I have no idea what this book is/was about... But, it was suggested so I am giving it a try.
OMG.. is all I can say about this book... You have to listen to this book on audio....
This book should've been called Four and Tris.. it was more about them... I mean this book could've been a stand alone and the third book could've been about the real series.
Christian fiction, you will meet a young girl name Casey...that has an addiction after her father dies, her mom sends her off to get help.. but the unimaginable happens and Casey is to blame. Will her mom find her, will Casey be able to save herself and prove she is better
OMG.. this book was great, never ever expected this book to be good. Here we have a young lady by the name of Charlie, Charlie is considered a reaper in a way. She tries to help people pass over and make closure for their family. Charlie helps the police, but she isn't a police officer. In this particular book your introduce to three lawyers, but you have to read to find out why they're important. Also Charlie's ghost lover. Lol
(DNF) I am very disappointed to DNF this book.. but it's just dragging on and I just can't keep going
Finally about to finish this book.. so therefore this series will be complete
I have been waiting on this book.. Finally, I have it
I am very indifferent about this book. But I really don't care for Tobias. I feel oh so bad for Beatrice, all the killing and murder
I really need book recommendations...
I don't read nonfiction, biography, autobiography, or anything historical..
I must say this book was way better than what I assumed. I am beyond eager to listen to the next one. But I must say through it all my favorite character was Rue. I hoped that's how it's spelled considering I listened via audiobook. It's a shame Rue had to die, and so now we know the ones that dies turn into beast.
Finally able to grab this book to read. I am hoping it is worth the grab... Then I will watch the movie..
" Pineapples, Pineapples, Pineapples." You're introduced to two sisters Jackie and Charlie. They're taken from their mom until she gets back on her feet, and while their dad Scrappy is locked up. Charlie is going to an aunt house that she never knew existed, while her Jackie got to stay with her best friend. Charlie finds new friends, and learns a lot while she was with her aunt. But you have to pick up this book and see what happens next.
So far here in Alabama, it has been so gloomy. Still unpacking and still enjoying audiobooks. I still don't understand Litsy much, but my reviews are on my Goodreads
"It all began with a ruined elixir and a bolt of lightning"
Current read
In my honest opinion being of mixed race I would definitely suggest to listen to this book rather than read the book. Go into this book with an open mind. Remember both races are in the wrong...
I really need help with this book????? I am really confused and not understanding it at all. I think I want to DNF, BUT I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IS EVEN GOING ON IN THIS BOOK. 🤔🥺 I am listening via audiobook, are these women marrying animals?
Goodreads: These girls are not friends
"When both girls attend the Friday-night football game, what neither expects is for everything to descend into sudden mass chaos. Chaos born from violence and hate. Chaos that unexpectedly throws them together. They hardly understand the other's point of view. None of that matters when the city is up in flames, and they only have each other to rely on if they're going to survive the night."
I am so sorry, but this book was another DNF.. WHAT IS EVEN GOING ON?? RED BEARD.. WTH..In the opening of this book.. I was so confused, I surely knew I accidentally started the second book. Nope. Definitely the first. So, I tried to listen to this on audiobook. Heck No.. the narrator sounded as if he needed sleep because he didn't like the book. I know this seems like babble. But I have no idea what to tell you. Except it's a NO for me
I actually picked this audiobook because I liked the cover. I am still moving and um... I have been bouncing around these books. I hope this book is good. Please let it be, I mean the detail sounds good
I am really unsure how to rate this particular book. I understand the concept, at least I think I grasp on. Sometimes you hold your own self prisoner without even realizing that your can walk away. Also, in my opinion the beginning is about be careful of the company you keep, because their wrong can spill over into your life if you're not careful.
This book is making moving harder, finally another audiobook that has grasp my attention. I am not even on the second chapter yet🤔
This has got to be the quickest book I have ever reviewed. I am sorry, I had to DNF this one.. all the cursing and someone is a vampire, someone is a dragon, man.my head hurts and I stopped at page 8.
Decided to enjoy the free audio books on my Kindle Unlimited. But it isn't through the audiobook app. You have to search hard for these books. People are celebrating Halloween and I am celebrating closing on my first house, still supposed to be packing. But first finishing my hair and then packing. I hope this book is great.
Whew.. I read this book during my Summer🥺 OMG, this book was so twisted, so good. I really hope to see a part two..I have so many unanswered questions
I really enjoyed this book. People compare to Percy Jackson's books. But I've never read any of those books. I absolutely like how theirs female heroines and it's fictional for children. I try to read any book that I allow my children to read, and honestly.. I skipped over the Percy Jackson's books for the T.A. Barron books. But my oldest son read each one. I listened to this book via audiobook on my Libby app.
Listening to this while I am enjoying my lunch. I do believe I am behind, but I had to wait for it to become available. I love Libby...
Where is your favorite budget friendly place to purchase physical books? This will be my weekend audiobook while I finish packing.
I'm behind, I know... But I figured this is the right time to listen to this book. Has anyone ever watched the series or read/listened to these book?
I just started this book maybe five minutes ago,I absolutely am here for this one
I am sorry but I had to DNF this book. After the first ten pages it couldn't grasp my attention. Not for me but I do understand it was a great read for a lot of people
"Fifteen-year-old Will Besting is sent by his doctor to Fort Eden, an institution meant to help patients suffering from crippling phobias. Once there, Will and six other teenagers take turns in mysterious fear chambers and confront their worst nightmares—with the help of the group facilitator, Rainsford, an enigmatic guide. When the patients emerge from the chamber, they feel emboldened by the previous night's experiences."

I am straggling the fence on this 2 book to "Stung" duo by Bethany Wiggins. When the book first started we're introduce to the Jackie (Jack) character straight from the jump. I listened this book on audiobook, and the author makes Jackie and Fo sound alike so I was confused. Let's jump forward, a lot of things were predictable, but why did Jackie kiss Jonah as well. She likes Nick, this was super confusing. Did she talk to her parents?. . ??
Now I am going to start the next book by Bethany Wiggins.. "Cured"
This book was kinda like a love hate relationship. When some parts left me on the edge.. that was the good part.. But following close behind was the very predictable situations. I have to say my favorite character on this book was Thomas (Tommy) he was there at the right time. Always. My least favorite was Aaron, too much drama
Triggers:
violence
Guns
Killing
Abuse
Famine
Persuasion
Lies
Inappropriate treatment to women
Small Bible mentioned
Today is a gloomy cold day. So I am cleaning and listening to "Stung" by Bethany Wiggins... I've never read any of her books. This just sounds good for this month and for my mood. Had anyone else read this book? What is your thoughts?
